Information about Heathrow Airport

London Heathrow Airport handles roughly 64 million passengers a year and demand is always growing.

The UK's busiest airport, Heathrow is also the world's second busiest cargo port. London Heathrow has 4 terminals, 2 main runways, plus a cross wind runway. Heathrow serves 90 different airlines to approximately 170 locations worldwide.

The airport has superb rail and road links to London and other parts of the country. The extension of the city rail link to the airport central area is now open and Heathrow has received approval to build another passenger terminal.

Information about Heathrow Parking

As Heathrow is the UK's largest airport, there are a large number of different options for Heathrow Parking. You can park on or off the airport, or for convenience, opt for the Meet and Greet chauffeur drive option.

The main off airport for Heathrow parking is the Purple Parking compound, based about 15 minutes away. This is the largest car park in the Heathrow area, housing approximately 13,000 vehicles. The car park is open all year round and suitable for both long and short stays as there is no minimum stay. There other main off airport choices for Heathrow airport parking are Park 4 Less, Airways Cranford and Q Park Flyaway. These tend to be cheaper than the on airport options, as you need to get a transfer bus to take you from the secure compound to the terminal building.

If you want Heathrow airport parking located actually on the airport, you can choose from a range of options that cater for all terminals. The Park and Fly and Pink Elephant Heathrow car parks are very near to the terminal, with extremely small transfer times of just 3 - 5 minutes. Parking Express is a big car park with over 5000 spaces but is a little further from the terminal, with a transfer time of 10 minutes.

For hassle free, secure Heathrow parking, you might want to opt for a chauffer drive Meet and Greet service with either Purple Parking, CPS or Q Park Flyaway. Each company runs a Meet and Greet service which saves you time, by meeting you at the terminal and dropping your car back off to you on your return.

Do a quote above and see the large range of Heathrow parking options available to you, with a range of choices for terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
